A New Drawing Course with Sara Post- Drawing in 21st Century

 I am taking a 6 week course with Sara Post. First time with Zoom! Don't like Zoom much, camera shy, long story, but it's great being part of a community. Let's me focus on the what's good in the world!

Getting free of the end results, learning to scribble again and getting into more sketchbook drawing and sketching. Dry media and water media.

Love the playfulness, and looseness! I don't like zoom either. Totally get it. LOL.

Yay! It is so lovely to see a post from you in my in-box! And I love your loose and emotive "scribbles" - they draw me in. I'm also NOT a zoom fanc! I get it! But it is nice to get out there and get some inspiration. xo

Thanks so much. I am getting used to the Zoom bit. The format is almost like a one on one workshop. Great group of artists. Will continue to share weekly projects! Thanks so much for your support, much appreciated.

Carol, lovely to see a post from you. Hats off to your taking a 6 week drawing course! These pages in your sketchbook are a delight with their scribbliness and sense of ease and freedom. More, more, more!

Thanks so much. This course is so different from any I have taken. Most have been pre-recorded with demoes etc. Like following in the instructors footsteps. Here because of small class (12) and zoom we (they) discuss the various videos ,works and articles from a reference sources. Then we see the works each has produced during the week. She gives assignments that are quite open and the work is very varied. I will try to post last weeks work: grounds and atmosphere!
